We’re celebrating 15 years of innovation
The 15th anniversary is traditionally marked with crystal, symbolizing transparency, clarity and brilliance — qualities that perfectly reflect what we’re celebrating this month at ROUSH CleanTech. For 15 years, we’ve built a foundation of transparency in our operations, clarity in our products, and enduring relationships with our customers and partners. This milestone is not just about the years — it’s about the journey, the people and the progress that have brought us here.
We officially launched ROUSH CleanTech on October 18, 2010, at the Green Fleet Conference in San Diego. This was the beginning of our growth and innovation in the clean fuels sector. From our very firsts, like our first customer, Frito-Lay, in 2011, to producing our first 1,000 Type C propane school buses with Blue Bird in 2013 (we’re now at more than 45,000 advanced clean school buses), to setting the standard In June 2017 when we developed the first propane engine for class 4-7 vehicles to meet the optional low NOx level of 0.05g/bhp-hr — 75% cleaner than the standard. We have since surpassed that level and are now 90% cleaner than EPA’s most stringent heavy-duty engine standard. We have a lot to be proud of.
Today, we have over 3,000 customers, 50,000 vehicles on the road, 3 billion miles of data collected, and valued collaborations with industry leaders like Blue Bird and Ford. We continue to drive forward with purpose and passion.
