Our Commitment to Our Veterans
Happy Veterans Day! I’d like to thank our nation’s military veterans for their service, especially those who work at ROUSH and in the propane and transportation industries.
Beyond their dedication and sacrifice for our country, our nation’s heroes bring an exceptional set of skills to the civilian workforce. They have learned discipline, leadership and technical know-how while they served, which are skills that are directly transferable to a wide range of industries, including ours.
Over 10 years ago, our company created Roush VIP (Veterans Initiative Program) to help veterans, members of the Guard and Reserve, transitioning service members and military spouses find fulfilling careers at Roush. The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for those who have served our country to bring their valuable skills and attributes to our team.
But it’s not just about practical skills — veterans also bring problem-solving abilities and teamwork to the table. These qualities are highly valued at Roush and within our industry. We believe that by supporting our veterans, we are not only supporting those who have served our country, but also strengthening our team with exceptional talent.
As we thank them for their service on Veterans Day, we also recognize the immense talent and expertise veterans offer every single day.
