I speak on behalf of the entire ROUSH CleanTech team when I say that we’re honored to be the trusted mobility partner for fleet operators, helping thousands of organizations across America meet their financial and environmental goals.
When it comes to clean mobility, we’re everywhere, moving people and product with propane vehicles. Being back in-person with many of you to celebrate the work we’re doing together to foster cleaner communities was the highlight of our year. In 2022 we made it a point to be a part of as many in-person events as possible, and we gathered with you during:
- Multiple tours with hundreds of influencers from school districts, transit agencies and commercial fleets.
- Fifteen “ride & drive” and demonstration events.
- Trade shows in school, transit, delivery and other markets, including NTEA, ACT Expo, NSRMCA and APTA.
And when we crunched the numbers for the year, we were thrilled to see that 41% of the largest school districts in the country operate a school bus with a Ford / ROUSH powertrain, and 32% of the nation’s largest school districts operate a Blue Bird propane school bus equipped with our fuel system. That’s a huge step forward for our students and communities, and with the continuation of the Clean School Bus Program, there’s much to be excited about in the coming years.
The emergence of renewable propane being widely available for commercial use is also a great reason to celebrate. The path to a near-zero future is becoming brighter and clearer.
As we turn the chapter on 2022 there will be many challenges ahead in 2023 such as rising (and volatile diesel prices) and new technology that is not ready for primetime. But we remain committed to helping your organization transition to a sustainable transportation future.
