There are now tens of thousands of propane autogas-powered commercial vehicles on the roads in North America, completing tasks such as delivering baked goods or bottled water, dropping off packages, and transporting students to school. While it may not be obvious, those propane autogas vehicles are producing fewer harmful emissions than their traditionally-fueled counterparts. And, new propane autogas engine and fuel technologies are lowering emissions even further.
During the past 10 years, ROUSH CleanTech has been on the cutting edge of clean transportation technology and innovation. We’ve deployed over 37,000 vehicles in North America, and reached a myriad of end users from product and package delivery to school and public transportation, energy and many more.

Independence (Mo.) School District has added 10 propane school buses to its fleet, along with a propane fueling station. The district purchased the propane buses and fueling station using a $20,000 rebate from the Missouri Propane Education and Research Council (MOPERC) and a Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grant, according to a news release from MOPERC. The rebate is part of the agency’s Clean Bus Replacement Plan, which has committed $1 million to help Missouri school districts transition from diesel to propane buses.
