This year’s July 4th marked the 245th commemoration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. During that time, our country has grown from 13 colonies to 50 states and 14 territories and has built over 4 million miles of roads. If you’re hiking up to a summit, the journey back down is much easier. Imagine a day when school districts and companies are not as intent on lowering emissions in their communities or in meeting budgets while battling rising fuel costs. A day when people are breathing easier (literally) as well.
