A Year of Growth and Gratitude
Dear Friends of ROUSH CleanTech,
ROUSH CleanTech has experienced an incredible amount of growth this year. Since the company’s inception in 2010, we have been building on our momentum toward the company that we have today. And we have our customers to thank.
In 2013, we took great strides to increase our brand presence in the alternative fuels industry. We expanded our company by hiring dozens of new employees. We invested heavily in technology, people and processes.
Let’s take a look back to see what we have accomplished:
Greater vehicle sales. From 2009 – 2012, we sold 2,100 total vehicles. In 2013 alone, we sold more than 3,500 vehicle.
More gasoline displaced. Before 2013, our vehicle sales would result in about 51 million gallons of gasoline being displaced over the lifetime of those vehicles. With our 2013 vehicle sales, more than 130 million gallons of gasoline will be displaced, and a domestic energy source used instead.
Reduced emissions. With all the propane autogas vehicles on the road today, over 130 million fewer pounds of carbon dioxide emissions are being released into the atmosphere.
More vehicle models. In 2010, we began with five vehicle models. We have increased to offer 14 vehicle models. This year, we added the Ford F-450 / F-550, F-650, F-53 and F-59 to our line-up.
Team growth. ROUSH CleanTech has grown from a six-person team in 2010 to an 80-person team in 2013. Recently, we hired five new employees to double the size of our sales department.
Added service locations. In 2013, we added more than 100 service locations, bringing the total to 270 nationwide. We currently have service centers in 44 states and some in Canada too.
Increased trained technicians. We trained more than 500 individuals in 2013, up from 200 total in previous years.
New manufacturing plant. Earlier this year, we relocated to a 64,000-square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This allowed us to expand our environmental program to include clean building practices, trash compacting, recycling, vehicle sharing and more.
