We Are Your Propane Autogas Resource
Dear Partners of ROUSH CleanTech,
At ROUSH CleanTech, our service technicians are here to answer your calls and help solve your problems in order to keep our collective customer vehicles’ down time to a minimum.
Recently we have heard some concerns about refueling. Specifically — a slow fill or even worse, a no fill.
We want you, our valued partner, to know that these problems are not always a fuel system problem. It could be the fuel dispenser and not the vehicles’ fuel system causing the issue. Sometimes the refueling infrastructure used has not been upgraded to the proper propane autogas specifications.
In order to combat this dilemma, we suggest reading the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) document, “Propane Autogas Dispenser Specifications.” Abiding by the specifications in this document will ensure that installed propane autogas refueling equipment:
- Meets all necessary federal, state and local codes and regulations.
- Delivers fuel to end-users in a similar way to gasoline.
- Uses the correct fueling dispenser for the vehicle type.
- Provides operators a safe and reliable refueling option.
We also recommend reading “Propane Autogas: Repair and Maintenance Facility Requirements. This PERC document outlines propane autogas specific requirements beyond those required for gasoline or diesel vehicle facilities.
We continually strive to find better ways to support you, always trying to make the transition to propane autogas a smooth one. Let us empower you with the information you need to provide the best customer service. Have a question? Call us at 800.59.ROUSH or visit the Knowledge Center at ROUSHcleantech.com.
Thanks for partnering with ROUSH CleanTech.
Sincerely,
