Torrington Public Schools Unveil Fleet of Propane Buses

Torrington Public Schools officials showed off a fleet of new propane buses, Wednesday evening. Torrington school officials changed the entire fleet to propane from diesel, the first district in the state to do so. “It’s one step at a time,” said state Rep. Jay Case (R-Winchester).
