Shelton First City in New England to Purchase Fleet of School Buses Powered by Propane Autogas

In today’s economy, it pays to think outside of the box when it comes to finding new ways to save money and Shelton’s Mayor Mark A. Lauretti says he’s struck gold with propane autogas.
The mayor just approved the purchase of 60 new Blue Bird school buses powered by propane autogas. The cost for the new fleet of buses is 5.4 million dollars but Mayor Lauretti says the projected savings in fuel costs alone will ultimately pay for the new buses.
