ROUSH CleanTech Prepares for Record Production Month
Dear Partners of ROUSH CleanTech,
We’re setting records! This June will be the largest production month in ROUSH CleanTech’s history. A big part of our success is due to the tours we offer to anyone interested in seeing our quality processes firsthand.
If you haven’t been to our headquarters in Michigan yet, you’re invited!
During the tour, you’ll visit a number of stations in our production area. You’ll visit our Clean Room where we assemble our fuel rails, injectors and internal tank components. At our Tank Assembly Station, you’ll see where we construct and leak test the tanks. Another stop is Engine Assembly, where we add up to 180 components to a Ford 6.8L engine. We ship those to Blue Bird’s shop in Fort Valley, Georgia, for the Blue Bird Vision school buses — fueled by propane, gasoline and compressed natural gas.
A typical tour itinerary includes:
- Afternoon / evening arrival of dealer and service center personnel.
- Dinner hosted by ROUSH CleanTech.
- Morning meeting at ROUSH CleanTech that includes introductions, a tour of the manufacturing facility, product overview and service overview.
- Break for lunch.
- Afternoon demonstration of propane autogas refueling, tour of ROUSH Performance and / or a tour of the ROUSH museum, featuring Jack Roush’s personal collection of cars.
- Afternoon departure.
