Where to Refuel
Propane autogas has a more extensive national footprint of publically accessible refueling stations than any other alternative fuel, including E-85. Finding refueling is quite easy, and a number of resources exist to help locate a fueling station:
- U.S. Department of Energy – Alternative Fueling Station Locator
- Heritage Propane – Station Locator
- Ferrellgas – Station Locator
- AmeriGas – Station Locator
- Drive Alternatives
- Arro Autogas
Get Your Own Station
Propane refueling stations are some of the lowest cost refueling stations available. In many cases, propane marketers will offer to install the station for little to no up front cost in exchange for a refueling contract. Many different types and sizes of fueling stations exist, depending on your facility and needs. Below are just a few examples:
Ford Michigan Assembly Plant (Mich.) | Positive Connections (Minn.) | Shell (Ariz.) |
Bend-LaPine School District (Ore.) | ROUSH CleanTech (Mich.) | Prosper Schools (Texas) |
