American Residential Services/Rescue Rooter bought 21 Ford E-Series vans powered by liquid propane last July. So pleased is the Memphis-based heating and plumbing company with the vans’ performance that Fleet Director Mike Baessler said the company may purchase as many as 130 more of them this year.
“The feedback we’ve gotten from our technicians and drivers is really good,” said Baessler. “Technicians say the engines are quieter and have less odor than gasoline-powered engines, and our drivers say they’re more powerful.”
