Leonia Schools Going Green with Propane-Powered Buses

The Leonia school district has started rolling out eco-friendly propane-powered buses, an initiative aimed at helping the environment while cutting fuel costs. The district recently added three propane buses, bringing its total fleet to 16 buses. The new buses have already hit the road and are being used to transport special needs students, Edgewater students, and those on field trips and after-school activities, district officials said.
