Hempfield Moves to Propane Fueled Buses

The Hempfield School District is the only district in central Pennsylvania to use propane fueled buses instead of the more common diesel fuel. This school year is the first time the new fleet of buses is being used. Rhoads Energy is supplying the propane for the 88 buses in the district. The buses are being supplied by Student Transportation of America.
