Hands-On Training Draws 60 Partners to HQ
Dear Partners of ROUSH CleanTech,
We just hosted a week of in-house training that included nearly 60 Blue Bird dealer fleet technicians. These folks traveled from Rhode Island, Washington, California, Florida and many points in between.
Here are attendee comments about these comprehensive, two-day training sessions:
- “Great information that applies to my job!”
- “The hands-on scenarios were great, need more of that.”
- “Instructors were up front and to the point. They were also very knowledgeable about their place, product and jobs.”
Each session covered an array of topics including:
- Fuel system overview and configuration.
- Hands-on system review.
- In-tank components.
- Underbody components.
- Engine bay components.
- Propane safety.
- Ford IDS – diagnostic software training.
We also introduced new, more advanced hands-on modules. The attendees were tasked with performing a variety of real-life testing or diagnostic scenarios, such as fuel system depressurization procedures and “bugged bus” scenarios.
Ford Motor Company and Blue Bird representatives provided training, too. Attendees learned in-depth serviceability for the integrated Ford powertrain and detailed instruction on Blue Bird specific topics.
Last week’s sessions were a big success! We’re pleased with the new training modules that were deployed. We’ll continue to develop more in-depth training as we look to conduct advanced technician training regionally in 2016.
Give us a call today at 800.59.ROUSH to learn how you can attend one of our extensive training sessions. Thanks for partnering with ROUSH CleanTech.
Sincerely,
Tom Hopkins
