Committed Service for New Gasoline Buses
Dear Partners of ROUSH CleanTech,
Last year, we began development of a gasoline fuel system for the Blue Bird Vision school bus. Since receiving EPA certification for this application, we are happy to announce that shipment of gasoline buses has begun.
You can expect us to provide the same committed service for our gasoline bus clients as we do for our propane ones. Our field service team will provide product training, field and warranty support, as well as host regional training throughout the year. We have web-based and onsite instruction available. Plus, we’ve expanded our customer support department, which can be reached through our toll-free hotline, 800.59.ROUSH.
The Type C gasoline bus features the same Ford 6.8L V10 engine and 6R-140 transmission used in thousands of Blue Bird Vision Propane buses. The gasoline engine provides excellent performance, coupled with smooth, quiet operation. This bus is designed to make ownership more affordable and to provide easier maintenance because of the familiarity of the engine for mechanics.
