Celebrating a landmark year
As 2025 comes to a close, we’d like to take a look back on ROUSH CleanTech’s key highlights. These milestones could only be reached because of our valued employees, partners and customers. So, I’ll start with thanking you for a great year!
In October, we’re very proud to have celebrated our 15th anniversary. This landmark provided time to reflect and be grateful for those who have supported us. If you didn’t get a chance, check out our social media during that time to see some of the highlights of our journey.
During 2025, our mark on the clean transportation sector continued to expand. Nearly 55,000 of our vehicles are currently on the road. This result would not be possible without our more than 3,500 customers, each of whom plays a part in our story.
The student clean transportation segment continues to be very important to us. We now have over 23,500 propane school buses and almost 24,000 gasoline school buses in operation that are equipped with our technology. Our commitment to working with school districts and contractors throughout North America continues as we recognize the importance of providing solutions that significantly reduce cost and harmful emissions. And, I’m proud to report that, currently, 54 of the top 100 largest school districts in the U.S. operate either propane or gasoline buses from our line-up, with 41 choosing propane.
Because our technology is spread across the country and to our friends up north, technician training remains a top priority. In 2025, we trained 750 technicians through our comprehensive programs, increasing our total trained technician count to over 3,200. We’ll continue to invest in technician development to ensure our vehicles are well-maintained and operate efficiently and the transition from diesel is as seamless as possible.
As we look toward 2026, not only are we excited about what the new year will bring us, we’re also excited that our parent company, Roush, will celebrate its 50th anniversary. We thrive because of the innovative, entrepreneurial spirit and vision of our founder, Jack Roush.
