Bimbo Bakeries USA announces their purchase of 84 propane autogas delivery trucks for their fleet across the country.
Nestlé Waters North America has expanded its propane autogas fleet by adding 155 Ford F-650 beverage delivery trucks powered by the alternative fuel. The company added the medium-duty trucks to the save on maintenance and fuel costs and for “environmental stewardship,” according to the company. The trucks were added to the company’s existing propane autogas fleet of 30 Ford trucks of the same model.
3.3.2016 — Environmental stewardship is just one reason Nestlé Waters North America is adding more than 150 medium-duty beverage delivery trucks fueled by propane autogas — but it’s a big motivation: Over the vehicles’ lifetime, the 155 Ford F-650 trucks will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 24.6 million pounds. These units will be deployed beginning in April.
3.3.2016 — Bimbo Bakeries USA is delivering its bread and baked goods in vehicles fueled by emissions-reducing, domestically produced propane autogas. The company’s 84 new Ford F-59 trucks, equipped with ROUSH CleanTech fuel technology, operate in three of BBU’s major markets.

Propane-powered school buses have started rolling out in Chesterfield County. The school system has introduced 20 of the buses in the past week, with the last five entering service Tuesday afternoon.
