Regional Rally Nets Sales

Regional Rally Nets Sales

Last month, the ROUSH CleanTech and Blue Bird teams partnered with Central States Bus Sales to host a region rally in Tennessee and Kentucky. Our teams visited almost 20 customers, with five in Tennessee who are considering purchasing propane buses using Volkswagen funding. Overall, the results were impressive — we’re expecting to sell almost 30 buses from this four-day effort.Regional Rally Nets Sales 9.16.19

To begin the regional rally, Central States Bus Sales reps received a half day of training covering propane and its advantages for schools. Then, they split into five groups with folks from ROUSH CleanTech and Blue Bird. These teams visited 19 school districts over the remainder of the week, with 14 being conquest accounts.

Thank you to the Central States Bus Sales team for hosting and lining up the customer visits.

Each new propane-powered bus, MCPSS says, will displace about 40,000 gallons of diesel and eliminate 150,000 pounds of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.
