ROUSH CleanTech Featured at 2011 Washington AutoShow
January 26, 2011 — ROUSH CleanTech shared with fleet managers how propane autogas can increase their bottom line, while decreasing their carbon footprint, at the Advanced Technology Super Highway exhibit at the Washington Auto Show, January 28 to February 6, 2011, in Washington D.C.
The exhibit allowed visitors the opportunity to view ROUSH CleanTech’s propane autogas-powered Ford E-350 cargo van, a cost-effective, proven performer in the alternative fuels realm. Propane autogas is historically 30 to 40 percent less expensive per gallon than gasoline, and the clean-burning fuel means less maintenance costs. It is the most widely used alternative fuel in the United States, powering over 270,000 vehicles in the United States. Worldwide, more than 15 million vehicles run on propane autogas. In addition, thousands of propane fueling stations across the United States make propane autogas the most common alternative fuel available today.
