November 2, 2011— During its inaugural months touring events throughout Southern California, more than 2,000 residents have explored the California Center for Sustainable Energy’s (CCSE) Residential Energy Roadshow. Transported by a propane-powered pickup truck donated by ROUSH CleanTech, the exhibit’s next stop is this weekend’s 27th Annual High Desert Home Show from November 4 – 6 at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville. The mobile display, which boasts more than 35 sustainability partners together in one demonstration, showcases the accessibility and choices available in energy-saving products and services.
“Residents in the high desert communities have many opportunities to save money by focusing on energy efficiency measures and reducing their energy consumption year-round,” said Irene Stillings, executive director of the California Center for Sustainable Energy. “If you want an energy-efficient home, you should take a look at our Roadshow to find out about the many cost-effective options available for energy upgrading that will not only lower your utility bills, but also deliver greater comfort and healthier indoor air quality for you and your family.”
