Propane Powered School Buses Operate in Extreme Cold
Omaha, and the rest of the country, has experienced extremely cold temperatures this winter, but that hasn’t stopped the propane school buses from running. STA, Student Transportation of America, runs 433 propane school buses in Omaha, Nebraska. School Children were not left waiting at the bus stop longer then needed in the freezing temperatures because of the propane buses starting up without a problem in the below zero temperatures.
