Clean Cities National Parks Initiative
National Parks Service
Clean Cities partners with the National Park Service through the Clean Cities National Parks Initiative to support transportation projects that educate park visitors on the benefits of reducing petroleum, cutting greenhouse gases, and easing traffic congestion. This initiative complements the NPS Climate Friendly Parks program by demonstrating the environmental benefits of reducing petroleum use.
Mammoth Cave National Park owns two ROUSH CleanTech Ford F-250‘s that run on propane autogas. They also use the Blue Bird Type C propane powered Vision to travel throughout the Kentucky park.
