June 3, 2014 — The City of Santa Ana has purchased seven vehicles fueled by propane autogas as part of its ongoing green initiatives effort to enhance its commitment to conservation and the environment. The new ROUSH CleanTech Ford F-550 trucks, customized for residential maintenance purposes, will reduce carbon emissions, lower fuel and maintenance costs, and decrease reliance on imported oil.
May 15, 2014 — Almost 50 buses fueled by clean-burning, affordable propane autogas will begin operation for the 2014/15 school year in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Cleveland Schools, Ohio’s second largest school district, will replace 12 to 13 year old diesel buses with Blue Bird’s Propane Vision buses.
April 7, 2014 — Broward County Public Schools, the nation’s sixth largest school district, purchased 98 alternative fuel school buses to lower its operating costs while supporting school district’s environmental stewardship program, “Learn Green. Live Green.”
March 21, 2014 — DISH announced that it deployed 47 customer service vans fueled by propane autogas in the Los Angeles area today. The fleet will emit 3.2 million fewer pounds of carbon dioxide emissions over its lifetime.
