Technical Specs
Engines
We engineer our fuel technology solely based on Ford engines. ROUSH CleanTech’s fuel systems retain all quality Ford performance characteristics, such as horsepower, torque and towing. All buses are extensively Roush-tested for durability, calibration and emissions, as well as in high altitudes, extremely cold and hot temperatures. Blue Bird buses equipped with our fuel systems are backed by a 5-year, unlimited mile powertrain warranty.
The Ford 7.3L engine is compact, durable and easy to maintain. The Gen 5 engine boasts 350-horsepower and 468 ft-lbs. of torque. The shorter, narrower engine design allows more room to perform service work.
